Who I
Am
I’ve always had a love and passion for art. Growing up, I spent hours drawing, and that naturally led me to explore other creative outlets like photography. By the time I reached high school, I discovered graphic design and knew I had found something special. I even landed an internship with a local filmmaker in Colorado during my senior year, where I got hands-on experience bringing ideas to life through design. After high school, I spent the next five years doing freelance photography and graphic design, which helped me further develop my creative skills.
It wasn’t until I had the chance to intern with my mentor Jewell, a Senior UX Designer, that I discovered UX/UI design and it felt like the perfect fit. The balance of creativity and user problem-solving excited me, leading me to work on projects like the CVS Health mobile app redesign. Through hands-on experience, I’ve developed a strong understanding of user-centered design, wire framing, and usability testing, making sure that my designs are both fun to look at and functional. I design intuitive and impactful digital experiences that enhance usability and engagement. Whether refining existing products or crafting new experiences from the ground up, I bring a user-first mindset and a keen eye for detail to every project.
Recently, I’ve also started learning how to develop and am working towards getting certified as a developer. I have a lot of love technology and always enjoy see how the tech space is always evolving, especially with innovations like AI creating new opportunities to learn and grow. This constant expansion and potential for discovery are what inspired me to finally dive into coding and pursue development, allowing me to build even more seamless and effective user experiences. I believe that understanding both design and development will allow me to create even more seamless and effective user experiences.
What I do when Im not working
Design is a huge part of my life, but it’s not the only thing that inspires me. Drawing has always been my favorite way to unwind, and I’m constantly inspired by manga and anime. They’re two forms of storytelling I’ve been passionate about for years. I also love spending time in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes, and enjoying the creativity that comes with cooking. When I get the chance, I like being outdoors; whether it’s hiking or even surfing. Surfing is a hobby I’ve only tried a few times, but I quickly fell in love with it. Beyond work, I’m always looking for new things to explore, whether it’s picking up a new skill or diving into something completely unfamiliar.
